A branding project for a new consultancy firm in Shanghai.
I started off by doing what we were taught at school – brainstorming and drawing something on paper before approaching the screen.
Created a mood board to get a look and feel.
Convert the inspiration from the mood board into logos
The client likes the idea of using the shape of the letter ‘M’ as a mountain and the line of wheat to represent fruitfulness and crops. So we explored that option further.
This is the final logo we went with. Then it was time to pick colours!
We finally went with forest green and clementine. Forest relates to the colour of nature, the mountains, the challenges, and clementine relates to the fruitfulness the consultancy would bring to the clients.
